Thousands of farmers and tribal residents are marching towards Mumbai from Nashik to demand land rights and other concessions from the Maharashtra government. A delegation has been invited for talks.
Seven Class X students of a hostel in Igatpuri, Nashik, have been booked for allegedly sexually abusing junior students. The hostel superintendent has also been booked for failing to take action after being informed of the abuse.
